I bought this item twice. While I didn't use the multifunction light display, it was nice to know it was there. The only regret I have with this light is the rabbits in our backyard decided to eat the light tube on one of them, so now only one works. Definitely will be replacing it with an identical oneI had purchased solar lights in the past and they lasted for about a year. I just got these and I really like the brightness and the lights are inclosed in plastic tube and I think they will with stand the weather better. I was also pleasantly surprised at the length and I think one strand will zig-zag the walkway between the house and garage nicely! Looking forward to getting them put up.These lights were perfect for my pergola. I just wanted a bit of sparkle at night, not really bright lights. These were exactly what I wanted. The only thing I wish they had was a remote control. They light up at sunset, but if I don't unplug them, they stay lit until sunrise.Item isn’t bad. It is not reading lite level, but for a soft illumination of a gazebo of 10x10, it’s certainly worth the cost. The solar seems dependable, the lights are a soft white light that gently illuminates the area, has an attractive appearance, and once set for auto, they have for the past month since install not let us down. We will throw in a dual bulb solar light system that fits around the top of the center pole in the gazebo which we can choose to use as well for more bright ambient light.I used these on my patio. They are bright, look great and stay on most of the night. Would buy againWhen it rained and the light set didn't receive enough sunlight, it doesn't hold my desired setting and starts to cycle through all the different light sets. This is very annoying as I have to go outside and then either reset it by the back panel, or turn it off. Not what I wanted in my purchase..They worked well for about a year and a half. After that, the internal battery would not hold a charge and needed to be replaced. Also, the plastic cover became so sun damaged (oxidation) that it could not be cleaned anymore.I purchased these lights for use with my camper particularly since they were solar powered. Initially these lights worked very well. When full charged, they can last for 8+ hours. Brightness level should not have high expectations since these are tiny LEDs and are only accent lights.My problem with them is that the control box is garbage. I constantly have to toggle through all of the options until I find the one I prefer. Additionally, there is a poor electrical connection in the on/off switches that causes voltage issues and random brightness fluctuations and even toggles lights on and off unpredictably. This is tiresome and incredibly irritating.
