I'm using these to line and light up my back yard fence. I've had many outdoor LED light strings. These are certainly doing the job and are a great cost per foot. I am using some thin steel wire in different stretches to help support the strings so they are not stressed on their own weight.They have very good illumination and I've had them up for a little over 2 moths and on a timer so they are on maybe 6 hours each night and doing great.CON: The wire is VERY thin. Thinner than your standard Christmas light string. I fully expect to replace every 1-2 years assuming that the sun and snow will quickly deteriorate the wire. I certainly wish they would last longer, but for the cost, I'm actually ok with 1-2 years. Replacing should not be that difficult now that I already have my hooks and attachment points set up.I love these lights. We bought them to go on our back deck. We needed 33 ft. We bought 33 ft. What we didn’t do was consider the “dead” space on the strand where there are no bulbs. The whole strand is 33 ft. Not the line of bulbs. For our project, it worked just fine as we were able to adjust easily. They work great. I love the dimming function. It was a perfect addition to our deck.The box (33FT LED string) arrived yesterday and I charged (USB) the batteries (in the solar panel) for about 4 hours. I checked function of the string of lights and remote, and was quite impressed with the brightness. If you want/ need something to light up your patio, this isn't the lighting for you, but for accent lighting these are perfect. Durability is an unknown. They will be installed along the edge of the patio awning as soon as I can pick up the necessary hardware. They will be under cover, so rain shouldn't be a problem.I really like these lights. They are definitely durable as we accidentally stepped on them while putting them up. However, the only issue we had with them is they do not come as separate lines of let’s say 50-100ft. This is a straight 200ft of lighting. There are no gaps to plug in another other items or add a splitter except for the end. Also these are two prong male and female connectors. If you have any other cables/cords to attach, know that you’ll need to get an adapter if they’re three prong. All in all they are very bright at night and give off a soft glow. My entire yard was lit and the neighbors loved the look.UPDATE October 2 2022- I’ve had these up since my initial review and set to automatically turn on every night at dusk. Sometimes they stay in for a few hours, and sometimes they stay on until dawn. It depends on the charge they acquired during the day and whether it’s clear skies or overcast. Some of the bulbs have appeared to go out, but really they just needed to be tightened and turned right back on. I should’ve tightened them all before hanging them. Over all I’m very happy with them!—-Initial review June 15 2022- I was hesitant to order these based on the lack of reviews, but I gave it a shot. I live in a remote location and knew it would be a week before I received the lights, so in the meantime I measured, planned, and set up where I’d string them, this way once they arrived I could put them right up. I used my firepit as a center and created a perfect hexagon with 6 homemade poles (I used 2ft PVC cut on an angle as ground sleeves)… this took me hours to do, but it was literally perfect to account for 100ft of lights! Unfortunately, when I strung them up, the lighted portion is only 90’. 9.8’ are unlighted and just meant to connect to the solar panel. I wish the description had outlined this as now I have to re-set all the pvc and poles.Other than that- I set it up the solar panel at around 6:30pm and sunset was at 8pm tonight in the other direction. I was surprised and excited to have gone out and come back home at 10pm to find out the lights were ON with barely any charge!Looking forward to many blissful nights around my new cozy yard :)I strung these up under our pouch (we have a walk-out basement with a porch above.) and these where a little dimmer than expected but honestly light up the area just enough to see where your going! the fact these are also solar is AMAZING!. the panel they came with was much bigger than i expected and im sure it will work for a vary long time. the bulbs are really durable my husband stepped on one by accident and it was fine just a small dent because the bulbs are plastic. we honestly had no idea because they look like glassWorked well but instructions were a little confusing. Need to advise lights only work when totally dark outside—tried to test inside house with no luck ..thought could test how worked by using controls…oh well definitely served purposeI hung these lights in July it’s now October…the solar option is great. I hung them, left the power on and don’t have to mess with them. The brightness is fine for me as I was only looking for ambiance lighting anyway. In the summer months the lights would turn on around 9pm and last until 4am. My only complaint is a significant one. In 3 months I’ve had 5 bulbs quit working. There are approximately 50 bulbs total. That’s 10% in 3 months! They do give two replacement bulbs but that’s not nearly enough at this rate. If this is common for these lights, they should give a replacement for each bulb. At this pace the entire string will have to have been replaced within ten months. If not for this issues I would’ve given five stars…but this is a big issue.
