The colors are amazing and super bright! It has some fun colorful patterns and I like that you can also make it solid colors, or two solid colors even. I love some of the choices on the remote control, but sometimes the control is glitchy. We got two strands for our tree and intend to use them in our RV when we aren't using them for the holidays! We have had them on for almost two straight months for the holidays and they are still working great. I like that one controller works both light strands, even though they were not plugged into each other. (which I did not see a way to do this, if that matters to someone). We just had them plugged into the same electric strip and 1 controller worked them both. Overall a great purchase!These are awesome!!! Eight colors with eight modes each color. That's 64 modes. Try a different mode each day and you'll be pass Christmas. Bright colors. Love the remote. I sit out on my glider bench and play with the remote just to watch the lights/colors change. I'd just wish there were more than 240 LED lights per string because you can't hook one string with another string. But, if you have the strings close enough to each other, one remote will change both strings at the same time. This keeps them in sync. The remote works over 10 feet away. I have other Christmas lights with their own remote and they only respond to the remote within 5 feet. This is my first Christmas with a remote for changing the lights. How long has these remotes been out there? I need to get out more......Used these for a lighting in homemade haunted house (10x30' canopy). Wanted purple to keep it "dark" but just enough light to see your way through. Didn't disappoint- many settings including gentle flicker was neat. Lasted 2 years would've been longer but a storm took them out :(I decorated my porch with some Halloween decorations this year, and hung these lights in purple. They provided a great eerie effect to the decorations, I was a big fan. These lights plugged into the USB so I didn't have to worry about battery life. Since the lights were connected to a smart plug, I didn't have to use the remote control so I can't really comment on how well the remote worked. It worked fine right out of the box though.72 FEET! This goes around my entire living room ceiling and half of the kitchen. The lights are lovely, the functions are fantastic and its a usb plug so even better. you get so much for your money on this i absolutely love these lights. May be one of the best purchases I have ever made on Amazon!I like the programs that these lights come with. I wish there were more programs. Also I wish it had white.I ordered two sets of these lights in December 2020 and they stopped changing colors a month later . Now it’s April and both sets stopped working all together. I wouldn’t recommend these at all .Very nice set of lights. The controls are wonderful. One strand was perfect for a small tree. We have a white tree and it made the colors really pop and stand out. Great for all seasons or occasions. Would make wonderful nightlights also
