We added this under our covered pergola. It’s super light weight, makes no sound, plugs into an extension cord from our outdoor outlet, and easily hangs by a chain that wraps over a beam. This won’t be a permanent fixture for us, but good for pulling out and putting up on a cool day.We found that hanging it lower helps. A LOT. It produces a nice amount of heat. Enough to take the chill off and make sitting outdoors on a 60 degree breezy evening feel super comfortable. At our table for 6, everyone can feel it but those sitting closer obviously feel it more.There isn’t a blower component - I was expecting one. But you really don’t need it.This is the 503 model. Not for sure what the difference between 502 and 503 are.The only downside is that the cord is quite short. I wish it were about 3-4 feet longer.
