I really love the look of these lights, but would only use them for special occasions. Each light is powered by four AA batteries, so not sure how long they would last if you kept them on for long periods of time.The package comes with four lights, but one of my battery power cells didn't work. I confirmed that the light actually worked and that the issue wasn't my batteries, so that's a 75% working rate.I'm thankful for the remote control that comes with these because they'd be too high for me to turn on and off with a switch, but I do wish the remote had a little longer range. You have to stand right next to the light with your hand close to it to turn the lights on and off.I like the concept of these little twinkly fairy lights. I hung them up under my porch umbrella but then ended up moving to the 4 corners of an outside canopy. The pack comes with 2 remotes and these little lights follow a number of different patterns and effects. They come packed flat like a sparkler, and you have to separate all of the metal wires out to form your circle probably 35 or so and it was time consuming. The 4 double AA batteries for each light is a commitment. The lights are cute and add a nice ambiance !Very nice indoor/outdoor lights. They come with a nice remote with 8 different modes plus a timer (6 hours on 18 hours off). The one down side is that you need 4 triple AAA batteries each (16 total). The lights are pretty and shine brightly. You can also adjust the brightness with the remote. You can hang or place on bushes outside. The description states that the batteries should last approximately 3 weeks if used daily. Depending on usage these could get expensive.I really love these! They are SO pretty. The set comes with two remotes, but you can use one for all of them. They're battery powered so you can use them outside, too. They'd be pretty awesome to take to a firework display, or to celebrate at home without explodey dangerness. I have mine in my workout room, to make things fun and festive because if working out isn't fun, it's about impossible for me to do. So I make sure I have a fun environment!I installed batteries and they work great and they're pretty cool, but I'm not sure what I'll do with them yet. It does seem like it'll be a wee bit time consuming to shape them (I splayed one out like half of a dandelion), but once I do, I don't imagine I'll need to touch them again unless I want to. I was thinking patio season's about over so I'll just experiment with them next spring, but seeing the example photos makes me realize I should get creative and think of ways to use them for the holidays. I'm a fairy/string/mood light junkie, so game on!
