There were no reviews and the price is much less than most solar string lights, so I was a little nervous. It was a grey day but I set them outside and by the end of the day they had juice. The connection seems a bit tenuous. If you move them around the lights flicker. I wasn't able to get one string turned on for a bit until fiddling with it for awhile. That seems a little worrisome. I'm concerned the connection will go on the fritz right after my window to return them. The plastic feels a little cheapy. If these actually hold up they'll be a good buy. Time will tell...Update: I realized the flickering wasn't a bad connection but the fact that the lights only turn on when they think it's dark out. When I turned the sensor away from light they would turn on then off again when facing a light source. Bummer that you can't turn them on at any time, but you can cover the sensor if you want them on when there is still light out.These light up pergola for night sitting. Love the solar dusk till dawn feature. I used the command outdoor lighting clips and attached then to the top. They look great!The item was as expected and started out just fine. They look great and the amount of light is perfect for our backyard. However, after being up for a few weeks, some of the bulbs stopped working as well as the solar panel. I believe these issues were likely caused by some storms we've had, although they weren't anything major. My biggest problem is that the only way to fix this is to order a whole new set which seems like a waste. I cannot find a way to contact the seller about it either. I would love the option to order a replacement panel and replacement bulbs rather than wasting the rest of the string that is working just fine.Did NOT come with a remote. On/off switch is the same button which is on the back of the charging panel. The lights will only illuminate if the panel is in absolute darkness. So it is hard to tell if they are ready to turn on until it gets dark. We solved that with having a piece of heavy fabric yhat we could slip over the face of the panel to make the lights turn on. Needed them to light a corner under a canopy that gets dark before nightfall. Modes include a seizure inducing strobe and a weird "breathe mode." Otherwise easy to install. Made of impressive heavy duty material.They are for outdoors!! So why in a few months they all stopped working a& most have water inside the light bulb!?!very nice, very attractive easy to set upI received these lights and the solar panel for it was smaller then I was expecting. I have noticed if you don't have a full sunny day they do not stay on for very long once dark.These lights are well worth the money. I placed them under the roof of my porch . They are bright enough to light the whole porch. I bought the ambient warm white . I live in the country so I dont have city lights which may be the reason. People say they aren't bright enough. Its It's funny how the neighbors drive by slow to take a peek. I really love them . Planning on buying more. I give them. 5 stars. East to install. Well worth the money. And I hung mine up under my porch so they will never get wet.
