Great Light strings. I bought these to add lights to my fenced-in backyard. I had no issues; all of the bulbs worked, and none were broken. I did drop a few on the grass as I was screwed them in and they were fine. Not sure if they would have had the same luck if it hadn't been on the grass. I can't speak to longevity as I just put them up a few days ago, but I'm delighted at this point. Hopefully, they do not disappoint.A couple reasons why LED shatterproof string lights are worth the money:1. The incandescent GLASS bulbs burn out A LOT! And they break easily2. The LED uses one fifth the electricity of incandescent counterpart and are made of shatterproof plastic3. These particular LED bulbs seem to have an even warmer more inviting glow than the original edison bulbsIf you want these to be up year around and literally NEVER have to replace a single bulb (I’ve had mine up in the cabana for 3 years!). Then spend the money on good string lights.Also, be careful of the cheaper LED ones as they have a bulb every 24” instead of 12”. I made this mistake thinking I was saving money…Used for outdoor lighting under a canopy. The right amount of light for a 10x12 ft canopyI like the built in hooks. Theists attach easily to a rope and went across our whole backyard. Perfect for sitting out in back at night!These lights are not bright, glaring white lights but are a more subdued yellow which adds to their appeal. They provide a good amount of light and are very easy to install. Each light is about 12 inches apart and each socket has a clip for attaching to a nail, hook, or whatever you are using to hang them. The bulbs themselves are made of clear plastic so there is little danger of breaking one. They also include a couple spare bulbs. Overall, they are a pretty good value. Haven’t had them long enough to judge durability or weather resistance.We are using these lights in our garden for my son and his fiancé wedding day. So far they are doing great, even in the rain. Only 15 more days till the big day. We have ours connected to Alexa. My husband installed them very easily and they really add a lot to the garden area. There was no remote control with either of the sets I purchased. Great buy!I ordered these to light up my brick patio. Upon arrival I realized I had made a mistake by ordering the wrong item, they were not LED's and bulbs were not plastic. Oh well I guess I'll just deal with these instead of returning them. To my surprise after putting them up the amount of light that these emitted was perfect. I didn't even need to install a dimmer switch which I thought I'd probably have to do.A little too bright, but they still look good.I was hesitant to order these after reading all the reviews about the bulbs easily breaking. I ended up purchasing these and installed the bulbs AFTER I strung up the lights and didn't have an issue with a single bulb breaking or not working. They've only been hanging for about a week but they look and work great...illuminate the entire deck in the backyard!I hung thin wire first and then stringed the lights to the wire as to ensure the wires don't stretch over time. The wire gives the 100' strand a lot more durability and will hopefully last for years.Edit: Not even one week in and two bulbs burned out.First of all, it came with all the light bulbs unscrewed (on a 100 feet wire). While i was assembling it, one light bulb felt from the couch and broke.While installing it, the wire fell from my hands and dropped on the ground: result= 10 broken bulbs, broken glass everywere.I have bought many of these before (agressive squirrels in my city lol) and I have never seen bulbs that cheap.It will be a nightmare to uninstall in winter.The light is a nice soft yellow, the bulbs are plastic of sorts so you don't have to worry about shattered glass (They do look like glass though!) and the cord is thick. They look great, nice light, and nice design. Will buy these again if anything happens to the current set.Install these and use them all year round with colored bulbs for holidays, then clear bulbs for summer parties. Great quality and very long to cover long distances. I have cut mine into 4 sets of 25 ft using lamp connectors that i purchased at Home Depot.Highly recommended! Good quality. All bulbs still working since purchase (3 months). They give a very cozy warm white look around our gazebo
